I'm surprised at the ratings for Fortune buffet. They are the only buffet that I can think of in toms River though there are buffets that are in other towns. They are constantly changing the food out. They have foods on the weekends that you don't usually see other places like oysters, which are fresh and they have a good selection of all the type of meats plus a grill plus a decent sushi bar. Deserts are decent as is the ice cream. I highly recommend that you try them out and make your own decision but they're really hard to beat for the money. Service is good too

My sweet MIL loves to go here for lunch. So on days when I have cardiologist appointments, I bring her here for lunch I can't eat a lot of the items available on the menu, right now, but what could eat was good. Mainly, soup, light fruit and basic protein. I'll be back in a couple of months, when I can enjoy more of the tasty food.

I love coming here. It's a little outta the way from where I live but the food here is always fresh and they always refill the food in a timely manner. This place has a huge selection to choose from so something for everyone. Service could be better but at least they acknowledge you from time to time unlike some buffet I been to. Definitely come try them out if you're in the mood for Chinese buffet
Have not been here since before Covid. There are many options at the buffet. Sushi seafood and Chinese options. Did not like how sushi was covered in plastic wrap. There is no wait staff as it's a buffet. Very clean and maintained.
Haven't been to a Chinese buffet in so long but this really hit home for me! We came during the lunch special and it was only $24 for two people! So affordable and so worth it!! The meat was not dried out, the fish was fresh and not fishy, chow mein was so so good! And the ice cream there for dessert was the icing on the cake! I can't wait to go back!
